Compliance

The “Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 is a significant health care reform law that passed in 1996 and its primary purpose was to provide better access to health insurance as well as to toughen the law concerning healthcare billing fraud.
HIPAA amends the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 by:

  • Simplifying the administration of health insurance
  • Improving portability and continuity of health insurance coverage in the group and individual markets
  • Combating fraud, waste, and abuse in health insurance and healthcare delivery
  • Improving access to long-term care services and coverage

The Administrative Simplification rules of HIPAA are intended to improve efficiency in healthcare delivery through standardized, electronic transmission of many administrative and financial transactions as well as protection of confidential health information.

Mr. Sakhuja started his career in Public Accounting in 1973 after graduating from the University of Delhi, India with a B.S.C. and completed his MBA from FMS University of Delhi, India. He has over 40 years of experience.
He is a CPA licensed to practice in Michigan and is a Member of the AICPA, MACPA and is a Fellow Associate of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is in compliance with continuing education requirements as provided in Government Auditing Standards, having attended accounting and auditing courses related specifically to governments and single audits. Anil also serves as an instructor in various in-house professional development courses.

Anil Sakhuja,Director & Co-founder

Pankaj, is an associate member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has also completed his Graduation from New Delhi. He holds more than 9+ years of experience in the field of Accounting and Taxation.
He has a rich work experience working with Small Scale Industries setting-up New Process from scratch He is very well versed with the taxation laws and has been serving in the area of Direct Taxation for a long time. He also holds diverse experience in handling registrations under various Acts, Rules and Regulations. Perfection and client satisfaction are the qualities he seeks in his every work.
